Ukrainians in Seattle will join Ukraine and the international community in honoring the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-33, the genocide that was one of the many attempts to destroy the Ukrainian nation by the Russian invader.

This year, the main commemorative event honoring the victims of the Holodomor will take place on November 27th at the University of Washington, in front of the Suzzallo library. The event will start with a minute of silence and candle lighting ceremony. The event will follow with a short prayer for the victims and a few words from members of the community.

Please join us in commemorating the Holodomor victims this Sunday on the 90th anniversary of this devastating man-made famine.

У неділю, 27 листопада, українці Сіетла приєднаються до України та міжнародної спільноти у вшануванні жертв Голодомору 1932-33 років, геноциду, який був однією з багатьох спроб знищити українську націю російськими загарбниками.

Цього року головний захід із вшанування жертв Голодомору відбудеться 27 листопада в Університеті Вашингтона, перед бібліотекою Suzzallo. Захід розпочнеться з хвилини мовчання та церемонії запалення свічок. Після заходу відбудеться коротка молитва за постраждалих та кілька слів від членів громади.

Будь ласка, приєднайтеся до вшанування пам’яті жертв Голодомору цієї неділі в 90-ту річницю геноциду Українського народу.
