This exhibition celebrates the enduring legacy of Ukrainian icon painting dating back to the 10th century. The radiant colors and other-worldly compositions of the icons provided the faithful with a compelling theological narrative and a contemplative space in which to encounter the divine.

Straw Weaving Bird “Пташка” Workshop with Ksenia Koshykova!
Join a 1-hour beginner’s class led by master straw weaver and graphic designer Ksenia Koshykova. Straw weaving is one of the oldest Ukrainian traditions.
Join a 1.5-hour session for beginners led by Ukrainian artist and folk art specialist Svitlana Denysova. “Petrykivka” is a unique traditional painting style from the Dnipro region, recognized by UNESCO as part of humanity’s cultural heritage.
